| The present paper makes a cognitive exploration of the characteristics of the 21st College English in terms of the selection of textbook passages,the frame of texts,the vocabulary,and the reading and writing exercises.It concludes that the textbook in question is well compiled as it focuses on the language learners and accords with cognitive processes of language learning. |
