| 在介绍全国研究生公共英语教学改革的基本导向的基础上，从会议研讨、教学改革研究、高校研究生公共英语教学改革等三方面分析了我国研究生公共英语教学改革的现状，指出了当前研究生教学改革的发展趋势，并结合国防科学技术大学的研究生公共英语教学改革的实践，探讨了研究生公共英语课程设置、教学模式、培养重心，以及研究生英语应用能力培养等问题，为研究生公共英语教学改革提供了新的思路和途径。 |
| Abstract: |
| Based on an introduction of the orientation of the guidelines for the teaching of English to the postgraduates，this paper analyzes the major characteristics of the teaching of English to the non - English major graduates in China’s universities from two angles：teaching reform research and practice of scholars，and the major tendencies of the teaching reform in the field under discussion. Furthermore，by taking the practice of teaching reform in National University of Defense Technology，the paper explores the establishment of curriculum，teaching mode，focus of teaching and the cultivation of the application ability of postgraduates，thus providing a new teaching conception and attempt for the English teaching reform for university non - English major postgraduates. |
