| Abstract: |
| This paper rationally analyses the growth，development and the future of MOOC，independent of the objective point of view of the government，universities，capital and society．The paper draws the following conclusion：MOOC arose based on the common role of education trend，first － class univerity，the network finance，government agencies，science and technology，and the news media．MOOC will encounter some obstacles in education theory，educational functions，teaching organization，evaluation，development patterns and development environment． MOOC will give full play to potentiality in the future because it has huge potential on realizing balance between education scale，quality and ffectiveness． |
