| Abstract: |
| The paper reviews the development and rising process for physics major in Caltech，and details the graduate curriculum offerings for physics major． The characteristics of physics graduate curricula in Caltech are investigated．It shows that Caltech first adheres to the small but excellent educational philosophy，has the strict admission to graduate standing and strict requirements for graduation．Second，Caltech has some elaborate course offerings，closely connects with engineering practice，and values the basic curricula．Third，Caltech pays attention to class quality and training the ability of self－study．Fourth，the study on research frontier and multidisciplinary cross is strengthened． |
