| 大学开设课程的数量、质量与学校水平是息息相关的。大学是个思想库，大学包罗万象，大学是一部百科全书，都通过课程来体现。专业、学科、科研与教学，也都能够通过课程自然而有效地联结起来。课程对一流的学科建设至关重要，建立起一流学科之后，靠自身力量办成世界一流大学，是中国学者有智慧与能力做到的事情。 |
| Abstract: |
| The number and the quality of courses offered by a university are closely linked with its teaching level. A university is a think-bank and an all-embracing encyclopedia，which is demonstrated through courses. Specialties，curricula，scientific research and teaching are naturally and effectively connected through courses. Courses are vital for disciplinary construction of top-ranking. After having established top-ranking curricula，it is possible for Chinese scholars to build world first-class universities by taking their own efforts and using their wisdom and capability. |
