      21世纪以来,世界范围内掀起了一场提升高校本科教学质量的热潮,我国在高等教育改革的摸索与实践中也逐渐形成了一套较为有效的教师教学评价模式,但较西方发达国家仍有一定的差距。究其原因,不可忽视的一点是我们在对教学效果的审查和评估这一环节上需要加强和改进。美国加利福尼亚大学伯克利分校经过将近一百五十多年的努力,如今成长为一所世界一流研究型高校,其世界顶级的教学水平和教学质量是其取得成功的关键。文章通过分析伯克利在教学评价方面的经验和优势,以期为我国高校的教学评价改革与教学质量提高提供有益的启示。
Abstract:
      Since the twenty-first century,the world has set off a wave of improving the quality of undergraduate teaching. The exploration and practice in higher education reform in our country has gradually formed a set of more effective teaching performance evaluation model,but it still lags behind that of the western developed countries, especially in the review and assessment of teaching effects. University of California (UC),Berkeley,after nearly 150 years of efforts,has grown into one of the best research-oriented universities in the world. The key to its success is the high-level teaching quality. This paper analyzes the practice and merits of teaching evaluation in UC Berkeley,so as to shed light on the reform of teaching evaluation and the improvement of teaching quality in Chinese universities.
