受国际教育竞争日益激烈和本土国际教育发展区域不平衡等因素影响,澳大利亚教育部于2019年提出了“目的地澳大利亚”项目,该项目在联邦政府的财政支持下,资助澳大利亚偏远地区高等教育机构的建设与发展,为到澳大利亚偏远地区学习的国际学生和国内学生提供奖学金,鼓励学生到澳大利亚偏远地区学习、培训和研究。在可预见的未来内,“目的地澳大利亚”项目的实施将会进一步提高澳大利亚国际教育的影响力,带动澳大利亚偏远地区共享国际教育的社会、经济和文化效益。 |
Abstract: |
Under the influence of the increasingly fierce international education competition and the imbalance of local international education development regions,the Australian Ministry of Education proposed the“Destination Australia Program”in 2019. With the financial support of the federal government,the project funded the construction and development of higher education institutions in remote areas in Australia,provide scholarships to international and domestic students studying in those areas and encourage students to study,do training and research in those areas. In the foreseeable future,the implementation of the“Destination Australia Program”will further improve the influence of international education in Australia,and promote remote areas in Australia to share the social,economic and cultural benefits of international education. |
