      本研究借鉴KANO模型理论,以提升学术英语课程建设质量为目标,通过对西安交通大学非英语专业研究生学术英语课程建设现状的抽样问卷,探索提升学术英语课程建设质量的有效路径。研究结果表明,与教学法和课程评价方式相比,学生更加关注课程内容设计和教学资料选择;专业英语模块的改善不仅可以提升研究生学习满意度,还可转化为提升课程魅力的潜在质量要素;课堂教学与课外自主在线学习结合的模式对学生具有一定的吸引力。
Abstract:
      On the basis of the KANO model, this paper is intended to explore how to improve the quality of academic English course through a survey of the current construction quality of this course among non-English major postgraduates in Xi’an Jiaotong University. Results show that students pay more attention to the design of course content and the selection of teaching materials than to pedagogy and course evaluation methods. The improvement of professional English module not only can prevent students from dissatisfaction with academic English,but also will possibly turn into a potential quality attribute to enhance the charm of the course. The effective combination of classroom teaching and extracurricular self-learning can also be attractive to students.
