| Abstract: |
| This article first discusses the essential attributes of universities. Next，the fundamental nature and the natural connotation of universities are discussed，as well as the core functions and the foremost duty. Finally，seven relationships that universities should handle well，such as adhering to their initial goals，returning to their true nature，and promoting connotative development，are listed and briefly analyzed. |
