      研究以豆包智能体平台为依托,开展了为期30天的英语口语交互练习实验。运用,混合研究法,系统考察了生成式人工智能在提升英语学习者口语能力方面的潜在效能。研究表明,生成式人工智能能够通过提供即时反馈与情感支持,有效促进学习者口语能力的提升。然而,不同水平的学习者在口语微技能的表现上存在差异,且生成式人工智能在记忆连续性、情感交流以及复杂话题处理等方面还存在局限性。研究结果为英语口语教学提供了新的思路,也为生成式人工智能应用于口语教学指明了改进方向。
Abstract:
      Based on the Doubao Intelligent Entity,the study conducted a 30-day experiment on oral English interaction,employing a mixed-methods approach to systematically investigate the potential of generative artificial intelligence(AI)in enhancing the oral English proficiency of Chinese learners. The findings reveal that generative AI significantly bolstered participants’oral English skills through immediate feedback and emotional support. However,there was a notable variation in oral micro-skill performance among learners of different proficiency levels,and generative AI had limitations in memory continuity,emotional interaction,and complex topic management. The research findings not only offer innovative pedagogical approaches for oral English instruction,but also delineate potential directions for optimizing the application of generative AI in oral language education.
